Associate Pastors


Carl Kremer is NorthPointe's Pastor of Worship Ministries.

Carl was born in Sunbury, PA, and graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1990 where he had been active in choir and theatrical productions.  After high school Carl moved to Philadelphia and received his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Temple University in 1995.  During his college years he taught himself how to play the guitar and began to write his own songs.  He also spent several summers as a summer missionary for the North American Mission Board, working in various states doing children's ministry.  After graduation, Carl worked with AmeriCorps VISTA at the Greater Philadelphia Food Bank, as a teacher of English as a Second Language in Tucson, AZ, and as an 8th grade teacher for the city of Philadelphia.

 In 1999 Carl met his wife, Kim and they married in December 2000.  Carl began leading worship at NorthPointe shortly thereafter.  The Kremers have five children - Elianna, Isaac, Liam, Lincoln and Maya.

Scott Childs is NorthPointe's Pastor of 514 Youth and NPCC Young Adults. 

Scott was born in Souderton and has lived in this area since birth.  He graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1990 and received an Associates Degree from Montgomery County Community College in 1993.  In 1994, Scott and his wife Shannon were married and they are now blessed with three children - Caden, Paige, and Maddux.

In the fall of 2001, Scott returned to college at Philadelphia Biblical University and graduated in December of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible with an emphasis in Christian Leadership.  Scott began his full-time ministry at NorthPointe in September of 2005.

Scott and Shannon enjoy being together with their children.  Some of the family hobbies they love are going on walks and to the movies, watching/playing sports and listening to music.

Brandon Vining is NorthPointe's Pastor of 514 Youth and 514 Kids.

Brandon was born and raised in the Boyertown area. He attended Boyertown High School and Philadelphia Biblical University where he met his wife, Shannon, and then graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible. They got married in 2004, and have since been blessed with two daughters, Reagan and Allegra.

Brandon and Shannon have been in ministry at NorthPointe since 2009. Brandon enjoys anything to do with Philadelphia sports, hunting and building furniture. Shannon enjoys reading, writing, and playing the piano. They both enjoy spending time with family (family movie nights are a favorite at their house!) and having people over to their home.
