Elders and Deacons
NorthPointe Community Church is an Elder-led ministry - the church is led by a plurality of qualified leaders who are charged with providing oversight and direction for the church. The Elders are also on the frontline along with the pastors in caring for the spiritual needs of our congregation. Along with Pastors Johnson, Kremer, and Childs, the three Elders who are currently serving are Dan Galaska, David Langdon and Todd Rogers.
Dan Galaska and his wife of 30+ years, Mary, and their two twenty-something boys - Travis and Austin, accidentally stumbled upon NorthPointe in 2001 while searching for another church. They were immediately drawn by the church's vision to reach the unchurched. Dan has served as an elder since 2003. He has led a number of growth groups, served as a member of the Land Team, and launched and served the Carpenters for Christ ministry and the NorthPointe Missions Board. Dan is employed by HomeWorks Ministries, a non-profit ministry he founded in 2004 while following God's call in his life. HomeWorks provides household goods to families in need. Dan can be reached at gfource@gmx.com.

Dave Langdon is an elder and coordinator for the BSC (Bible Study Connections) and Growth Group ministries at NPCC. He and his wife, Linda, have three children (Megan, Brian and Zachary) and two grandsons and have been attending NorthPointe for over 5 years. Dave first made an intellectual acceptance of Christ early in 1983 and on Maundy Thursday of that year, God changed Dave’s heart to fully place his faith in Him. His academic background has served to encourage Dave to read and learn more about Christ, and in January, 2009, Dave was commissioned as a Centurion in Chuck Colson’s PFM/Breakpoint Centurion program which provides a deep and extensive background in the Christian Worldview. Dave can be reached at dmlangdon@verizon.net.

Todd Rogers gave his life to Christ as a teenager, but grasped the message of the gospel to a much greater degree at age 21. He has been married to Chia for 11 years and they have three children; Grace, Glen, and Ben. Todd and Chia have been attending NPCC for more than 7 years and, together, have been pouring their lives into the children of our church in Kid’s Cove for a number of years. They currently teach in the 3rd-4th grade class. They also host a Growth Group, which Todd leads. Todd is employed by Carpenter Technologies in Reading, PA. He can be reached at wtrogers418@gmail.com.

NorthPointe Community Church also has a Deacon ministry. The primary charge of the Deacons is to examine the benevolence needs both in our church family and in the community and decide where and how NorthPointe will be able to help. Our Deacons are (clockwise from left) Dustin Parlet, Dennis Kulp, Pete Bornholm and Curt Shugars. The Deacons may be contacted at benevolence@npccpa.org.
